These vegan, pull apart style sourdough rolls are soft and fluffy with just a touch of sweetness. Slowly fermented for over 36 hours, they are made with organic whole and white wheat flour, and are light and flavoursome, with a soft, golden crust. Best eaten on the day they are baked, or freshly frozen. Perfect for the kids lunch boxes. I often freeze a load, and pop a frozen one into their bags in the morning. They’re perfectly defrosted by lunch time.
Bursting with fresh flavour, our walnut pesto is made in house with the finest ingredients. Roasted walnuts, fresh basil, fresh garlic, sea salt flakes and extra virgin oil, all finely blended together and then folded into the dough.
Walnuts have nearly twice the fibre of pine nuts, are full of healthy omega 3 fatty acids and essential vitamins and minerals. They add a rich, nutty flavour and creamy texture. Fully blended into the pesto, there are no whole or nut pieces in these rolls.
