Fully fermented and made with 80% organic rye flour, 10% organic whole spelt flour and 10% whole wheat flour. This 100% wholegrain loaf differs slightly from the 100% rye sourdough. Darker in colour with a subtle difference in the flavour profile. Other ingredients include sea salt and filtered water, and a touch of fermented red rye malt flour. The addition of caraway seeds to this sourdough loaf, gives it a distinctive deep flavour with hints of anise, dill and fennel. Rustic rye and aromatic caraway is a classic combination and a regular staple of many European diets.
