These vegan, pull apart style sourdough rolls are soft and fluffy with just a touch of sweetness. Slowly fermented for over 36 hours, they are made with organic whole and white wheat flour, and are light and flavoursome, with a soft, golden crust. Best eaten on the day they are baked, or freshly frozen. Perfect for the kids lunch boxes. I often freeze a load, and pop a frozen one in their bags in the morning. They’re perfectly defrosted by lunch time.
Chia, hemp and sesame seeds all have a very high nutrient profile. They are often labelled superfoods due to being very rich in protein and fibre, amongst many other micronutrients. Chia and hemp seeds are full of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, important for heart and skin health, and sesame seeds are rich in calcium, have more essential amino acids than most other cereals and are an excellent source of vitamin A. All making for a densely nutritious , delicious and filling roll!
