A wholesome loaf with a wonderfully rich, deep and unique flavour profile, that combines the nutty, slightly sweet taste of the whole wheat, with the tangy, complex flavours of sourdough. Including the grain’s bran and germ, it has more fibre and a tighter crumb than a regular wheat sourdough loaf and is very satiating and super nutritious.
Stone baked and naturally leavened with a whole wheat sourdough starter. Ingredients are simply organic stone ground whole wheat flour , home milled organic wheat grains, filtered water and sea salt. This loaf comes with the option of being sliced and in a brown paper bag. It freezes well or will keep fresh for three to four days in a linen bag, sealed container or wrap.
